Privacy Policy

BURBLANKS ("we," "our," or "the app") develops Lazier, an all-in-one productivity application for iOS. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information when you use our app.

Lazier is designed with privacy as a core principle. Your productivity data—tasks, Pomodoro sessions, calendar events, and financial transactions—is stored exclusively on your device using Apple's secure SQLite database. We do not have servers, we do not collect data, and we cannot access your information.

Lazier stores the following information locally on your device:

Important: All this data is stored exclusively on your device using iOS's encrypted storage. We do not have access to it, cannot see it, and do not transmit it anywhere.

When iCloud sync is released, it will work as follows:

• What will sync: All your tasks, Pomodoro history, calendar events, reflections, and financial data
• Where it will go: Directly to your personal iCloud account using Apple's CloudKit
• Who can access it: Only you, through your Apple ID
• Our access: None. We will not be able to access your iCloud data
• Optional: You'll be able to choose whether to enable or disable sync

When available, iCloud sync will use Apple's CloudKit framework and will be governed by Apple's Privacy Policy. We will not have separate cloud infrastructure.

Lazier does not collect, transmit, or store any of the following:

• Personal Information: No names, email addresses, phone numbers, or identifying information
• Usage Analytics: No tracking of features used, time spent, or app behavior
• Device Information: No collection of device identifiers or hardware specifications
• Location Data: No GPS, IP address, or location tracking
• Crash Reports: No automatic error reporting or diagnostic data
• Cookies or Tracking: None

Lazier may request the following iOS permissions:

Your data security is ensured through:

• Local Encryption: All data stored using iOS's encrypted data protection
• App Sandboxing: Data isolated from other apps
• iCloud Encryption: When using iCloud sync, data is encrypted in transit and at rest
• No Network Transmission: App works fully offline; no internet required
• Secure Database: SQLite with proper access controls

We do not share your data with anyone. Period.

• No data is sent to us
• No data is sent to third parties
• No data is sold or monetized
• No analytics or usage data is collected
• No advertising networks have access to your information

Apple Services Used:

Lazier integrates with Apple's native frameworks:

• UserNotifications (for reminders and alerts)
• WidgetKit (for home screen widgets)
• ActivityKit (for Live Activities and Dynamic Island)
• CloudKit (coming soon - for optional iCloud sync)
• WatchKit (coming soon - for Apple Watch companion)

These integrations are governed by Apple's Privacy Policy. We do not receive data from these services.

No Third-Party SDKs:

• No analytics services (Firebase, Mixpanel, etc.)
• No crash reporting tools
• No advertising networks
• No social media SDKs
• No third-party data collection tools

How to Delete Your Data:

Once deleted, data cannot be recovered unless you have a device backup. Currently, all data is stored locally only.

You maintain full control of your data:

• CSV Export: Export your financial transactions to CSV format
• Your Control: Take your data with you anytime
• No Lock-in: Use exported data in other applications

(Additional export features for tasks and schedules may be added in future updates)

Lazier does not knowingly collect information from children. The app is designed for general audiences and does not target children specifically. Since we don't collect any data, Lazier is inherently compliant with COPPA and similar regulations.

GDPR Compliance (European Users):

Since we don't collect or process your data on servers, many GDPR requirements don't apply. Your data stays on your device. You have full rights to access, rectify, erase, and export your data through the app's features.

CCPA Compliance (California Users):

• We do not sell personal information (we don't collect it)
• We do not share personal information for monetary benefit
• You have full control to delete your data at any time

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect new features or legal requirements. Updates will be posted within the app and the "Last Updated" date will be changed. Significant changes will be highlighted in release notes.
